Polyend Tracker - Sounds to the review
The Tracker is a brilliant, very handy device and since it can be operated via USB power, it is very suitable for being used on the go or on the sofa on your lap powered via a power bank. This is a demo of the sounds of this great device. The full review can be found on delaydude.de/en/testbericht-polyend-tracker/?v=3a52f3c22ed6

    How did you hook up the guitar? Does this thing have a hi-z input? Or does it have line inputs? How did you connect an electric guitar then? Even the official website doesn't have this information... It seems to be a serious device, and not cheap, but there is no clear technical specification(((

    • @delaydude
      @delaydude 10 годин тому

      Oh, I just plugged it in and it worked great 😀 You could always put a buffer (or any buffered pedal) in front of the zen delay, but it is not necessary, imo.

      @@delaydude What about the many studios and musicians who take into account different input impedance? What about switches or even different jacks on the same input for separate recording from line and instrument inputs? Have all these people been fooling themselves and us all these years? And it really has no effect on the sound? And after all, the line signal by current exceeds the guitar signal by 10 times....

    You missed all the stereo image since you connected just one output of the pedal. As result, it sounds mono, lacking all the spatial stereo image.

      The Boss DD-200 is stereo (if checked it to verify). Maybe, you have set it to wet/dry in the menu. But if you set it to stereo and put a stereo pedal in front of it, it works in stereo. And the DD-200 itself can create a stereo sound, too. For example in the pattern mode. Maybe, you should change the setting in the menu.

      @@delaydudemaybe post a video with it creating a stereo image or pong effect? I run this off my pedal board straight to FOH and do not get a stereo field out of it. If any setting on there could do it it would be the dual delay with adjusting the parameter control.. but still does not do it.. no control on that pedal can make the delay times offset per left and right to get what I consider true stereo.

That's not bad at all, but brokes the ambient vibe. In this video, you use the pedal in a way that generates that dark atmospheres I want to produce. The DIG sounded great but somewhat more 'digital', but still fantastic. Well, it is called the DIG for a reason, I suppose? LOL. While the Nemesis sounded just as great IMO, yet it has an almost analog quality to the delay lines even though it's digital too, which I really like. So I would go with the Source Audio. I've read that one secret of the DIG is to put it on 12 Bit mode and then it takes on a more analog like quality itself, with all the digital convenience. I would have liked to have heard that mode in this Demo too.
